PSYD 868 Couples and Marital Therapy

This course focuses on assessment, therapy, and skills training for treating couples, including married, committed unmarried, and parent-child pairs. Utilizing an integrative, eclectic intervention model alongside other therapeutic approaches, students will develop competencies in evidence-based treatment strategies. Emphasis is placed on cultural responsiveness and ethical considerations in working with diverse relationship structures. This course is part of the FSPP PSYD curriculum.
