PSYD 895E Child Interviewing
The course will offer students the opportunity to learn about basic listening and interviewing skills, as well as how to conduct a full interview as part of an initial assessment specifically focused on children and adolescents. Students will examine directive and non-directive approaches to interviewing and will read and discuss theoretical and empirical literature. Through demonstrations, role-playing, and structured exercises, students will be able to practice and develop these skills. This course is part of the FSPP PSYD curriculum.
