This course is designed to ground learners in the modern digital workplace: AI Essentials, networking basics, virtualization, and Linux fundamentals, followed by core cybersecurity concepts in architecture, operations, and program oversight. Learners practice building and hardening virtualized lab environments, configuring baseline network services, and applying security controls and policies. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving, ethical digital citizenship, and using AI copilots to accelerate troubleshooting, documentation, and day-to-day productivity.

This targeted course is designed to consolidate knowledge across the Security+ domains—threats, vulnerabilities, architecture, implementation, operations, and governance/risk/compliance—through scenario-based drills, performance-style labs, and timed practice tests. Learners develop a disciplined study plan, refine test-taking strategies, and validate hands-on skills to be ready for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam, reinforcing real-world security judgment and communication.

This course is designed to prepare learners for entry-level SOC analyst responsibilities: monitoring, triage, investigation, and escalation. Through Cisco CyberOps and Cyber Threat Management modules, learners apply frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), analyze alerts, and practice incident handling workflows. With Splunk Core User, they search, visualize, and report on logs to develop evidence-driven findings and dashboards. The curriculum builds rigor around playbooks, tickets, and analyst notes while preparing learners for the Splunk Core User certification.

This course is designed to advance learners from manual triage to automated response. Using Splunk SOAR, they design and execute playbooks that orchestrate tools and streamline response actions; with Enterprise Security, they tune correlation searches, build dashboards, and apply risk-based alerting for prioritized detections. The capstone synthesizes skills into a portfolio-ready SOC project—complete with runbooks, metrics, and an executive briefing—while preparing learners for the Splunk SOAR User certification.
