DBA 697X Dissertation Extension
This course provides an extension of time for DBA students in the process of completing their dissertations. DBA-697X is focused on the completion of Chapters 2 and 3 of the Dissertation, defending Chapters 1, 2, and 3, and submitting an IRB application for empirical dissertations. Students who have completed all degree requirements except for the Dissertation are required to register for Dissertation credit each semester until their Dissertation is approved by their faculty committee. This course is part of the DBA curriculum. Admission to this course requires that the student has completed more than 50% of the course writing requirements and has the approval of the Program Director or designee to be assigned to this course. This extension course can only be taken once. Note: All students in the DBA program are required to maintain employment throughout this program in order to successfully complete this course. Students’ employment/practical training is integral to all DBA courses, through class discussions, assignments, and reflection on practical application of this degree.
