DBA 620 Holistic Management in Organizations

This course integrates theory and practice to comprehend and resolve organizational management problems. Students analyze the structural, human, political, and symbolic frameworks that help leaders and managers to address a variety of organizational challenges successfully. Through a holistic approach, students examine leadership and management success and failure across various organizational settings and learn to create a balanced model for strategic decision making to attain organizational objectives. Note: All students in the DBA program are required to maintain employment throughout this program in order to successfully complete this course. Students’ employment/practical training is integral to all DBA courses, through class discussions, assignments, and reflection on practical application of this degree.
