DBA 632 Innovation and Entrepreneurship

This course examines, through an interdisciplinary approach, the processes that foster innovation and allow individuals to transform their ideas into lucrative business opportunities. Students analyze the empirical research of the innovation- based strategies as a source of competitive advantage to identify best practices in designing and running a successful business initiative. Note: All students in the DBA program are required to maintain employment throughout this program in order to successfully complete this course. Students’ employment/practical training is integral to all DBA courses, through class discussions, assignments, and reflection on practical application of this degree.
