ECE 550 Foundations of Early Childhood Leadership

This course serves as the entry point for the M.Ed. in Early Childhood Administration . It introduces students to the professional identity, leadership expectations, and ethical responsibilities that define effective early childhood leaders. As a foundational course, it establishes the habits of reflective practice, evidence-informed thinking, and innovative mindset that guide leadership decision-making within complex early childhood systems. Students strengthen their professional communication and academic writing skills while developing the mindset necessary for transformative, sustainable, and inquiry-driven leadership.
