MHE 541 Advanced Methods for Teaching Mathematics

The course focuses on the curriculum, methods, materials, and issues related to the learning and teaching of mathematics in the upper elementary and middle grades (grades 5-8). The purpose of the course is to deepen students’ understanding of research-based teaching practices and apply advanced instructional strategies to support all learners in the classroom.
