EDLF 601 Analyzing Structure and Allocation in School Financial Management

In this course candidates will consider the social, economic, and political considerations related to financing public schools. Adequacy and allocation provide the lens for analysis and critique of existing policies and practices. Candidates will learn about effective practices for decision-making and resource allocation that support improved student achievement. The changing landscape of federal, state, and local funding, will also be reviewed and discussed throughout course activities.
