BDA 506 Big Data Management and Databases

This course introduces students to relational database concepts, data warehousing, data management, the rise of big data, data mining, and modeling tools. Students will be exposed to various applicable systems and data analysis tools, enabling them to effectively manage and apply actionable strategic insight and decisions garnered from data. Note: All students in the MS BDA program are required to maintain employment throughout the program in order to successfully complete this course. Students’ employment/practical training is integral to all MS BDA courses, through class discussions, assignments, and reflection on practical application of this degree.
