BDA 505 Security and Ethics for Business Data Analytics
This course examines security, privacy, and ethical implications in business data analytics. Students address challenges in the data life cycle, from data collection to data analysis. Students explore the associated consequences of misuse of information and equity in representation (data) and review legal and ethical policies in various industries and business settings in an ever-changing environment. Note: All students in the MS BDA program are required to maintain employment throughout the program in order to successfully complete this course. Students’ employment/practical training is integral to all MS BDA courses, through class discussions, assignments, and reflection on practical application of this degree.
