PSYD 775 Advanced Trauma Interventions
Students will learn evidence-based treatments for trauma-related disorders. They will gain knowledge about theoretical and empirical bases for different treatment modalities as well as clinical skills through discussions, role plays, observation, and case examples. Students will discuss the impact that trauma work has on the provider, including secondary trauma and self-care. This course is part of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology curriculum.
