EDU 470 Applied Educational Studies Capstone
This course serves as the culminating experience for Applied Education Studies majors, providing students with the opportunity to complete a Capstone Project that bridges their academic learning with practical application in an education-focused context. Through inquiry-based research and reflective exploration, students will examine a question or topic pertinent to their professional interests in areas such as but not limited to teaching, curriculum, learning, community engagement, educational support services, advocacy, policy, youth development, or community-based education. The direction of each Capstone will be guided by the student’s career goals and field interest, while students will also refine their professional documents and reflect on their learning journey, ensuring the development of the skills necessary for professional success in their chosen career path.
