EDU 290CB Designing and Implementing Safe and Healthy Early Childhood Environments
Students will demonstrate competency in areas of health, safety, professionalism and ethical engagement with children and families. Students will maintain, design and assess early childhood environments. Students will plan, implement and assess learning experiences using knowledge of children's development, abilities, and interests. Alignment of professional practice with applicable standards, guidelines, and ethical considerations for confidentiality is covered. This course is covers the following Gateways to Opportunities ECE Credential Competencies: HSW3, HSW4, HSW5, IRE3, IRE4, PPD3. NOTE: this course is only open to students in the ECE Competency-Based program.
