EDU 310CB Supporting the Development of Young Children

This course is designed for early childhood educators to demonstrate competency in child development. Students will interpret unique developmental patterns and supportive resources for diverse children, collaborate with families and community organizations, and describe appropriate environments, methods and content to support development and learning. Students will create a development plan and a professional philosophy of teaching. This course is covers the following Gateways to Opportunities ECE Credential Competencies: HGD4, HSW6, CPD4, CPD5, IRE5, PPD5, PPD6. NOTE: this course is only open to students in the ECE Competency-Based program.
