Innovation, Influence, and Insight Concentration (Advanced Standing)

The Innovation, Influence, & Insight Concentration equips students with the skills to analyze complex business problems, generate innovative solutions, and influence decision-making. The concentration integrates critical thinking and research methods with creativity, business innovation, and strategic marketing. Students learn to turn data into insight, apply critical thinking approaches to solve market challenges, and communicate strategies through clear, persuasive storytelling. The completion of this concentration prepares students for roles that require evidence-based strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and market-focused leadership.

Program Details

  • Requires 15 QH for completion
  • Requires a minimum grade of "C" for each course in the concentration. Note: A minimum grade of a "B" is required for the course to count towards graduate credit.
  • Requires completion of all courses at NLU. Credit for Prior Learning will not be accepted.

Advanced standing requirements:

Students completing the advanced standing courses in the Innovation, Influence, & Insight concentration are eligible to have these courses applied to degree requirements both in their current undergraduate program and, upon meeting eligibility criteria and acceptance, to the specifically designed NLU graduate program. This concentration serves as an advanced pathway to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. To be eligible, students must complete the advanced standing courses at NLU. Students should contact their Academic Advisor for details as certain rules apply.
