Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals and Applications Concentration
This non-technical concentration is appropriate for students in all majors and career paths. Students will explore core concepts of artificial intelligence and will develop practical skills for using, evaluating, and integrating AI tools appropriately across academic, professional, and everyday settings. Students learn to navigate emerging technologies responsibly, analyze their ethical and social impacts, and apply AI knowledge to real-world projects that strengthen both career readiness and critical thinking.

- Requires 15 QH for completion
- Requires a minimum grade of "C" for each course in the concentration
- A minimum of 5 QH must be taken at NLU

- Apply AI tools strategically and responsibly in academic, professional, and personal contexts
- Critically evaluate AI-generated information for accuracy, bias, transparency, and ethical implications.
- Analyze ethical and societal implications of artificial intelligence to inform responsible decision-making and equitable use of AI in diverse environments.
