Accelerated Pathways
Certain bachelor’s degree programs at NLU allow students to complete a major, minor, or concentration of specifically-designated coursework at the graduate level prior to undergraduate degree conferral and apply such coursework to the requirements of both the baccalaureate degree and a master’s degree (if enrolling in the future). The following criteria apply:
- Each accelerated pathway has its own defined entry requirements, admissions process, policies, and progression standards. Refer to the specific accelerated pathway program requirements for all details.
- Coursework in the accelerated pathway will be denoted with a “GA” following the course number.
- Accelerated pathway courses are awarded in semester hours. Each three semester hour accelerated pathway graduate course will satisfy five quarter hours of undergraduate degree requirements.
- Accelerated pathway graduate courses are not included in the undergraduate GPA.
- Accelerated pathway graduate coursework may not be applicable to another undergraduate degree upon student withdrawal, change of program, or dismissal from the accelerated pathway program. Refer to specific accelerated pathway program details for more information.
