RBT 120 Registered Behavior Technician Practicum II
During Practicum II, students will gain momentum in their careers as Registered Behavior Technicians. In this course, students will increase the number of hours they are working as RBTs and serving clients, working towards full-time employment. Students will continue to engage in cycles of reflection on their practice as RBTs as well as their long- term career aspirations. As a cohort, students will support one another in assessing real-time case studies and developing plans to better serve their clients. By the conclusion of this course, students will express confidence in their skills as RBTs, in navigating their new workplace, and in their career plans for the future. Every week, time spent on this course will on average follow a breakdown of 50% working with a client, 15% in synchronous virtual class sessions, and 35% on asynchronous class assignments. The program is offered independent of the BACB. Pre-requisite(s): RBT 110. Co-requisite(s): CAR 204. 4 quarter hours
