ENG 203L Career Communications, Research & Presentation
This lab is designed to develop student communication, research, and presentation skills and competencies covered in ENG 203. Students will summarize and paraphrase written material as well as identify, properly cite, and integrate acceptable sources. Literacy for the Workplace uses career development as its content matter through which to practice the skills of effective speaking. This course completes the first "personal exploration" section of the career arc by focusing on personal strengths and interest assessment, career path exploration, career vision mapping, and workplace communication (written and verbal) and active listening.
