EDL595A Special Topics in Educational Leadership: Fiel Conference

The fellowship for the Improvement of Educational Leadership (F.I.E.L) exists to provide a program to promote individual and administrative team development, the mentoring of recently appointed school leaders, and professional networking to offer support to those serving in leadership roles in schools and school districts nation-wide. The organizational mission is to "empower educational leadership through professional development, mentoring, and networking." The opportunity to earn graduate credit hours offers to school leaders the opportunity to extend the summer conference experience to particular work situations and to assist the school leader in meeting various state recertification requirements. Prerequisite(s): Registration to participate in the 2004 Inaugural Conference of the Fellowship for the Improvement of Educational Leadership (F.I.E.L.) at St. Norbert College, DePere, Wisconsin, July 11-16, 2004. This course is open only to those individuals who have also registered to attend the FIEL conference. 1-4 semester hours
