Admission Criteria

In addition to the NLU Graduate Admission Requirements, applicants must submit all of the following to the Office of Admissions prior to consideration for admission to any NCE doctoral program:

• A grade point average of 3.25 or better in master’s level courses is required of all applicants. Please note that only credit from a school accredited by one of the following agencies; Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), Higher Learning Commission (HLC), New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), will be considered for transfer credit. 
• Submit a professional resume or curriculum vitae describing relevant background and work experiences
