Medical Assisting Minor
The Medical Assisting (MA) minor supports students in transitioning from the Accelerate U Medical Assisting certificate program to a Bachelor's degree pathway by recognizing students' coursework in the MA certificate program as a minor. A student pursuing this route would be positioned to work as an MA after completing their certificate program, and then pursue continued education to advance their career. In addition, this minor recognizes the valuable industry knowledge and skills that students have formed as MAs and the additional perspective this experience would offer to an undergraduate student as they pursue any range of undergraduate degrees.
